Djibouti (DJ Booty)

Today, I actually had fun in school. Remi and I got to work on a social studies project together. It was a scavenger hunt where we had to solve a bunch of riddles about the different countries and continents to find where Carmen Sandiego was hiding. He was making all kinds of jokes. Like did you know there's a country in Africa called Djibouti? Remi kept calling it - DJ Booty - haha. Ms. Howard took a picture of us with her polaroid camera. Pretty neat huh?

I'm glad we're friends. He doesn't make fun of the way my lunch smells like the other kids do. He's always telling me that I should tell the other kids to shove it and the only way to get them to stop is to fight back.

My mom says I should just ignore them. And that the food she makes me is better than the cafeteria food so I should be thankful. Sometimes I just wish I could buy pizza at school like the other kids.
